EU Celebrates Europe Month in Tamale

Tamale witnessed a momentous occasion as the European Union (EU) celebrated Europe Month for the first time in the city, fostering enriching exchanges on skills development. His Excellency the Ambassador to Ghana, Irchad Razaaly, graced the event and engaged with aspiring youth from the creative art industry to explore opportunities and cultivate their talents.

An exhilarating musical performance was delivered by Kokui, a groundbreaking ‘Afropopera’ band from Ghana. Their genre-blending melodies captivated the audience at Tamale, as this event formed an integral part of the EU’s month-long celebration in Ghana.

The concert, named ‘Music at Red Clay,’ was conceived by The Band Kokui (TBK) Foundation in collaboration with the EU Delegation, Red Clay Studios, and the Savannah Centre for Contemporary Art (SCCA). Red Clay, an artistic space established by the internationally acclaimed Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama, served as the venue for this memorable musical evening.

On the 19th of May, with the esteemed presence of EU Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Irchad Razaaly as the guest of honor, the ambiance was set for an extraordinary experience at Red Clay.
